This event happened this spring, so I'm clearly late on it, but it is very cool and very important, so I'm going to ask for your forgiveness and request your attention because I am not over it even a little bit.

In between my 2-mile shuffles, I like to check in on the world of ultra running. The most common definition you'll see for an “ultra” is “longer than a marathon.” Marathon is 26.2 miles, so something like a 50K counts as an ultra.
